AI Visa Guide ("we", "us") is developed by Batuhan Salkım. This policy explains how we handle your data.
Many features in this app (visa requirement lookups, the AI chat, interview prep, route planning, risk advice, and similar tools) work by sending information to third-party AI providers so they can generate a response. Specifically, when you use these features we send:
This information is sent to Google (Gemini API), and — only if Google's service is unavailable — to OpenAI as a backup provider. We do not send your name, email address, passport number, financial information, or any other identifying data to these providers, and we do not store your AI queries on our own servers.
Before any of this information is sent for the first time, the app shows an in-app screen explaining exactly what is sent and to whom, and requires you to actively agree before AI features are used. You can review this disclosure and turn AI features off at any time from Settings → AI Data Sharing.
We do not collect your name, email, location, or any personally identifiable information. All app preferences are stored locally on your device via AsyncStorage.
We do not retain your AI queries, passport country, or destination selections on our own servers — these stay on your device and are only transmitted to the AI providers above at the moment you use an AI-powered feature. You can turn AI features off at any time from Settings → AI Data Sharing, which stops any further data from being sent. You can also delete all locally stored app data at any time from Settings → Delete All Data.
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
